Miao-Chih Tsai’s core expertise is in the critical evaluation of a broad range of cutting-edge biotechnology and biomedicine. She has had over a decade of experience in evaluating the research in the top biomedical journal. Miao joined Darwin Ventures as an EIR in 2021. She is an ardent proponent of science and strives to help scientists convey their discoveries for maximal impact within the society.
Miao was a research fellow at Stanford University where she investigated the organization of genetic information and demonstrated the function of non-coding RNAs from 2007-2011. Before that, Miao read for her Ph.D. at University of Cambridge from 2002-2006. She received her M.S. and B.S. degree from National Taiwan University and National Normal Taiwan University, respectively.
