Kwan-Chiun (Chris) Lin is one of the most successful Internet entrepreneurs in Taiwan who co-founded Skysoft (www.skysoft-inc.com), the operator of Taiwan's market-dominant digital music distribution service "KKBOX". Knowing the fact that Taiwan is the "music entertainment capital of the whole Chinese community", Chris started to build his digital music empire from Taiwan and has lead KKBOX to become the most successful legitimate digital music service in the Greater China region.
As Skysoft's COO and an active member of the company board, Chris lead the company in attracting venture capital investment of USD 16 million from industry leaders such as Adobe, Orix Corporation, China Development Industrial Bank and Chung-Hwa Telecom during 2006 and 2007. Skysoft is actively expanding its business in the Asia-Pacific region. Chris was born in Taipei, received his Master of Science degree in Operations Research in 1996 from Stanford University.
